For the few who are interested, I’m seeing the ABC promos for the upcoming season.

What’s interesting is the changes. The new host is Alfonso Ribeiro. There is an interesting symmetry here as Ted Bergeron was hosting the America’s Favorite Home Videos show and doing Dancing with the Stars Hosting duties. Then handed that off to Alfonso. Julianne Hough will be co-hosting. i think this combination will be better then the last host.

Derek Hough returns are a judge. Len Goodman passed away so this makes it a three judge show again with Bruno and Carrie Ann returning.

I don’t believe there is an airdate announce yet, but the part that is interesting is the show will air again on ABC and stream on Disney+ and then Hulu the next day. Three venues! So what was being said in another thread was that perhaps streaming for Disney isn’t bringining in the numbers it hopes for.

Also to be kept in mind is that with the writers' and actors' strikes, new content is at a premium, and ABC will need the show to fill a hole in its schedule.

I didn’t see this coming, the show postponed due to one of the stars being in the actors union, so he learned he had to align with his union colleagues.

Funny how so many of these "reality" shows seem to employ writers.

Looks like the show will premiere tonight after all after the writer’s strike preliminary agreement was reached.
