Someone I know will be splitting their digital cable signal to add a computer, and possibly another TV. I believe I have seen some splitters specify their bandwidth.
Does he need to use one of these splitters, as opposed to the standard ones sold in most stores?

Thanks...

A decent 1GHz splitter should do fine. Make sure the digital cable box gets one of the -3dB ports, and not -7dB.
