This is almost common sense, and i would have had to test it myself, but these guys already did!

Yeah, except you really only need to get a splitter that's stereo 3/32" on both ends (so you con't need all those 1/8" adapters).

Yeah, but it's mildly humorous to see an adaptor for an adaptor. It's the thought that counts, I guess.... I just hope Microsoft doesn't attempt to fix this in future versions of downloads.

I don't know why they would. Still - someone should just go a hardware mod - take apart the little adapter and put a second jack in there. I'd consider buying that.
