My living room is 16x14x8 and I want to add two ceiling speaker to my current 7.1 setup. I understand SpeakerCraft's one, two, three versions of each model. In this case the Aim5 three has better materials than the Aim 7 two. What I'm wondering is would I be better off with the Aim5 or the Aim7. The Aim7 is only $16 more, but bigger is not always better. All of my current speakers have 5 1/4" woofers which for a lack of a better reason was why I am leaning towards the Aim5.
I guess I should mention that I'm going to place these in top center position. They will be mounted one to two feet above and to the front of the MLP depending on where the rafters are.
