"Sympathy for the devil" - always think of Interview with the Vampire when I hear this one (even though I believe G N'R covered it in the movie).

What's the opening theme to the original Rollerball (1975) movie? Everytime I hear that song, I think of that movie.

Peace,

Apologies if this was mentioned previously, but the song "Pretty" by The Cranberries is now forever associated in my mind with the third act of a bad Robert Altman movie.

Foreigner...just about anything by them. I Think of the cartoon AQUA TEEN HUNGERFORCE. The episode with the Foreigner belt has ruined every experience I will have with their songs for the rest of my life.
Those who watch the show will know what I mean...but those who dont watch it, it is tough to explain why it burns into your head.

#1: Don't You (Forget About Me), Simple Minds, closing credits of The Breakfast Club. I love that shot of Judd near the goalpost.

Sunshine of Your Love, Cream - GoodFellas.

Voodoo Chile from Black Hawk Down, a cover by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Wish they'd used the orig but SRVs was good enough.

Definititely March of the Broomsticks. Also, the name escapes me but there's a classical piece in Fantasia that is the melody behind the summer camp favorite "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah". It kills me everytime!
That would be Dance of the Hours, by Ponchielli

Mad World - the cover recorded for Donnie Darko

Blue Velvet - in Blue Velvet

Brazil - in Brazil

Actually, I think the only original song in "Singin' In The Rain" was "Make 'Em Laugh".

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

Now you can study Shakespeare, but have nothing to eat.
