I work for Wal-Mart Distribution Center 6035 in Ottawa, Kansas. It's a good place to work, and I'm making pretty good money, especially for just having a high school education. But I'm planning on going back to school this year to become a paramedic.

I am a senior at the University of Kentucky. My major is biology, and I'm planning to graduate at the end of the semester with a BS (yes it means what it says). I am also a pre-med and planning to commit suicide in April (aka taking the MCAT). I'll take the year off before I apply to med school.

I actually read through EVERY response.

I guess as it stands I am the only REALTOR that has replied. I have been selling homes for about 8 years now and I specialize in New Homes. Great job, great boss, great pay.

I was a software engineer until last month when company had round 3 of layoffs this year. They're down to around 25% of the staff they had at this time last year (!)
Now I am going to make finishing my degree my #1 priority (work had been paying for my education for the last year.)
I've had to cut my DVD buying quite a bit, and cook more at home... but in turn I don't have to work 50-70 hour weeks. :)
