Anyone know when the specs for the new Denons will be out?

I was pretty excited about the Onkyo 600 until I realized it had no pre-outs...

DD EX won't be any fun with only one rear surround!

Can anyone explain why the 595 and I'll bet the 600 get such nice treatment without having something as simple as pre-outs? Jeesh!

because they are good performers for the money. would you suggest a Sony DE model receiver with "100wpc x5" and pre-outs over an Onkyo 595 rated at 75wpc x 5 without them?

i do agree with you though, and that's one of my only complaints with my receiver.

back to the topic...i anxiously await a new model replacing the 3802 (3803??). anyone have any news?

Chip, where did you see the 5803 info; I couldn't find it.

I'm hoping for a 3803 with Firewire support. I'm sitting on a nearly 5 year old 3200 and am wanting to upgrade to dts/6.1/Pro Logic II.

If they release a 3803...I hope it's made known to the general public within the next 2-3 weeks. That way I can return my recently purchased 3802 and pick up the new one
I love my 3802 though... so I will be happy if they don't release one anytime soon also.
