Okay,
Please tell me if I have this right. I am such a loser...

7 speakers (rockets) run to my amp (sherbourn 7/2100)
-speaker cables with spades on both ends

Sherbourn amp connects to B&K ref 50
- 7 xlr cables termintaed MALE/FEMALE

RPTV(unknown as yet - Mitsubishi Diamond series likely) connects to Ref 50
-component (?) or maybe rgbhv (?)

DVD player (panasonic rp91) connects to Ref 50 (?)
-which cable?

Unknown as yet whether getting digital cable or DSS, but what cables for each?

TIVO (unknown) connect to what?
-with what cables?



As you can see, I need some help and I would greatly appreciate some basic information =)

Again, could be svideo, could be component-- if you get a "tivo" built into your DSS box- then you'll be simply integrated here-- if not- will depend on which box you get.

And you can wire it through the B&K, or direct to the TV- depends on if you want the B&K to do video switching or not.

You can check the primer/faq for more info on that decision.

This is something your local HT store you bought your stuff from should be able to answer for you. I'm not saying you have to buy your cables from them, but if you bought your equipment from them, they should be able to help you out.
