slightly off topic - shiva subs in my car? (1 Viewer)

Well, I've got a shiva in my home system and LOVE it. So why not put a pair in my car? They seem as (or more) durable as run of the mill car subs (like image dynamics or infinity)
Anyone know how they'll perform in a small sealed enclosure, around 1 cu ft, my home box is abour 2.2 ft.
I've got 300x2 to feed to them, so plenty of power.

I got my Shivas in my car!
I use 2.0 FT³ ported to 21Hz.
I used JBL 600.1 for each driver.
For my SUV,
The MASS are in there same size box and Fb of 20hz with two JBL 1200.1 amps.

NICE they sound pretty good?
I've got a pair of infinity 10's now, but 10's just aren't enough.
I'll be using a soundstream reference 604 brindged to 2 channel.

They sound great! They are pretty strong down low. I tuned low since I listen to various types of music.
I never got into the car audio scene when I was in my teens, so I decided to do to try it out a decades later since my brother-n-law has been in it for an enternity. When he offered that he would give me the amps for nothing, I added the subs to the autos!
If he didn't offer them, I don't think I would've done to be honest.

on the adire site a few testimonials have come from people running them in their car in a 1.0 cy ft box, I think I'll try it. If it sounds ANYTHING like the single driver I have at home I'll be extatic
I just wish they offered them in a dual 4 ohm or even 2 ohm voice coil

4 ohms in parallel is a little too much
