My sister wants a simple inexpensive home theater
setup. Her budget is $350ish. I've already ordered
the Dayton sub from Partsexpress for $99 and am thinking
of getting the Panasonic SA-HE75 for the receiver at
around $150. So the question is the front & surround
speakers. I found a Cerwin Vega 5 speaker surround set
at Overstock.com for $99.99 or the Panasonic SB-HEP20K
speaker system at Buy.com for $99.99. Which of these
would sound better or if you think there are other suggestions that would fit her price needs they would be
greatly appreciated. I thought this route would sound
better than some HT'n a box would sound.

Thanks for all the help around here.

Do you have a pawn shop near you? Lots of people sell their stolen/unwanted/cheating boyfriends stuff at pawn shops. I scored a $300 Onkyo reciever for $75 last week! Most good pawn shops have a large selection of used speakers. They may not be the greatest quality, but where else can you build a 7.1 system for under $200?
