Shower head question (1 Viewer)

Looking at various hand held shower heads (the ones with the long hose) and see that they don't list a diameter but say stuff like standard 1/2" shower end. I measured my shower head and it looks like it's more like 3/4" outer diameter. Does anybody know is the 1/2" is an inner diameter measurement or if there is such thing as a 3/4" shower head?

Yep! The inside diameter of the hose is 1/2" Are you worried that it won't fit?

When I first got a hose model I had to do some "emergency" plumbing in my apt. because the pipe coming out of the wall wouldn't fit, but I don't think I've done that for way over a decade now.

Yeah, I saw a website claim fits your standard 1/2" shower fitting but when I went home and measured it, my amateur ruler method seems to return more like 3/4" O.D.
