Greetings,
I am currently in the market for a DLP projector in the sub $3000 category. I have narrowed my choices down to two contenders:
Sharp PG-M20X & NEC LT-150z.
I am looking for opinions of owners of either of these two projectors and/or people who have seen them in action.
I am leaning towards the Sharp because of the higher lumens and better contrast ratio, but the NEC has an avid following in many of the forums. I am aware the Sharp has had reported issues regarding the lamp not firing and some flickering problems, but Sharp has been quick to rectify these problems.
Any opinion is welcome!

Dean,

Try to get a look at both projectors before deciding. The LT-150z has a very slow 2x colorwheel, so you may see rainbows. The M20X's 3x one is better, and the NEC LT260's 4x colorwheel (with 6 color sections is even better than that.
