Some of Criterion's Kurosawa releases on dvd and blu-ray include the original 3-track Perspecta soundtracks as an option in addition to mono - Sanjuro, Yojimbo and Hidden Fortress.
In the booklets for the three films, they note that the three-channel tracks were "decoded through a Perspecta decoder", so I don't know if they used the Chace system or something else to produce them. It's been awhile since I've screened them, but I recall that the tracks were pretty effective in some scenes.
Their release of Kurosawa's "High and Low" includes the four-track surround track from magnetic elements.
