anyone seen this yet? i'm looking for comments on content and picture/sound. since it can be had for under $12 shipped, i'll probably pick it up, just like to know what to expect.
Are you a CLash fan? If so, get it. $12 is a steal. I bought one for myself at 20 retail, and didn't bat an eye when I bought a second one for a friend at that price. I knew it could probably be had cheaper online, but I didn't care, I couldn't wait.
Not the best documentary in the world, and there are no full performances, but it still kicks ass. The video quality is good, and considering the source material, I found the audio very good as well.
Get it.
thanks, Ben. after watching "Grosse Point Blank" over and over, i had to dig out my old Clash albums (Joe Strummer did the music for the movie). it'd be nice to have some "newer" Clash material to check out, i'll pick up the DVD.
There's a conversation about this title in the music area. At two hours it's very brief and a little bit selective in its reporting, but overall a must buy for Clash fans.
