Greetings.
I am new to this forum and to home theater. When I purchased my home theater system a little over a year ago, I decided to forego the subwoofer and see if the system would provide sound I needed. While for the most part I am happy with what I have, I miss the low end spectrum of the sound.
I am currently looking at purchasing a sub. It should produce a clean sound for both music as well as theater. My room dimensions are approx. 15' x 12'. The system I currently have is a Kenwood Receiver VR-410, Kenwood CD-403 and Kenwood Tape Deck CT-405. The speaker system, also by Kenwood, includes:
Towers: KVS 310 (8" woof, 4.5" midrange, .75" tweet) 125 W
Central: KVS 54 (two 4.5" woof, .5" tweet) 70 W
Rears: KVS 64 (two 4.5" woof, two .5" tweet) 70 W
I am looking for an 8-10" powered sub (maybe even 12") for no more than $300 CANADIAN. I don't want to shake the walls yet would like to feel the deep bass. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance
Carlos
