Samsing DVD-HD 850 vs. LG LDA511 (1 Viewer)

Both are HD conversion units. I bought the Sammy and I may take it back. I'm not impressed with the display and it's buggy with my DVD+R's. I also looked at the LG at Circuit City but the salesman was pushing the Sammy. The last player I bought was a Sony and it worked fine with DVD+R's but it only lasted a little more than a year.

I guess I should have phrased this more as a question, as I am hoping for a reply. Is anyone familiar with the LG unit? I need something that is good with DVD+R format. Thanks for any help!
