I installed XP back in November and when I wanted to participate in the online chat with Fox I found out that XP won't run Applets unless you have SP1 installed. So recently after some memory and hard disk problems, I needed to reinstall Windows so I installed SP1 so I could run Java Applets and it still won't work. Doing some research I found out that now, Micro$oft doesn't support Java even with SP1.

Is there any way I could run Java Applets under XP. Is there a way to install Sun's Java VM under IE or is using another browser for sites that require Java the only way.

Thanks, it's currently installing.

But last time I used the Java Plug-In, it was installed like an Activex Control in which a website had to include an applet using the (Without the _) tag while normally they are used with the (Again without the _) tag. Will this make Java Applets run Everywhere?
