Rotel RB-985 THX vs. Acurus A125x5 (1 Viewer)

I'm looking into purchasing either one of these AMPs. If you guys/gals were to choose between them which would you pick, and why?
It seems neither of these amps have a 12 volt trigger, but from searching on this site I found the following product
here. Will this work?
I will be mating this Amp w/ an Outlaw 950.

Funny thing, I've got my 985mkII mated with the 950 with B&W CDM1NTs and it sounds great. I picked up the Rotel amp for a good price in mint condition so I didn't really give other amps much of a chance.

I've heard good things about the Acurus but never got around to listening to it.

The acurus is great for ht/ music. It is very dynamic. You really need to listen to both of these, as most people will most likely only have positive things to say.
