Redeeming movies directly in iTunes (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if you can still redeem regular blu ray digital codes directly in iTunes or is everything done via moviesanywhere now?

The reason I ask is that if you redeem a regular blu ray code through movies anywhere then it'll port over to iTunes as a regular HD version but if you redeem them directly in iTunes then it will automatically upgrade your version to 4k. I'm just not sure how many can be redeemed directly in iTunes anymore.

unless the code is specific for itunes, aka pre 2018, it’s hard to find one that will redeem 4k or auto upgrade. I say this because I have redeemed some codes for newer movies via itunes and still get HD vs 4k, since they sell 4k and HD versions of movies now
