My wife and I bought 5 gallons for our Master Bedroom. The finished looked is outstanding, we love it. But, it is very difficult to apply.
Anyone have some helpful tips.
Peace Out~
What I've learned about this type of stuff is that you just have to suffer through it.
I did River Rock in my Family Room, "Suede" on one full wall in the Living Room, and a Colorwash in the Theater.
All were very time consuming.
By the way, did you panic after the first coat, like I did??
I thought I destroyed my wall!!
Everything turned out great,we really love the look, but that first coat looked liked a NIGHTMARE!!!!
So if yours does too, don't panic.
Also, with the Suede, after you do your first coats with a roller, you do the final with a criss-cross motion, using a 3 inch brush. Until the final coat fully dries, you can see ALL of your brush stokes, and it too looks awful. But once it dried everything looked really cool.
I had lots of scary moments with the Ralph Lauren paints!!
Good to know. I've heard about the nightmare and been warned. Yet the results seem to be excellent. We are not doing any suede, just the River Rock.
Peace Out~
