New to the home theater world. I have a Sharp LCD projector. While projecting a DVD what causes a light horizontal line to move up the screen, and how do i correct.

Things like this are almost always some sort of interference. Can drive you batty attempting to figure it out. What sort of grade cable are you using? A better shield can help some. It can also be grounding issues from one piece of equipment to another.
