Is there any way to wire this thing up (both voice coils) for a load of 2 ohmns?

with two 2 ohm coils, you have ONLY 4 options

1) series=4 ohms
2) parallel=1 ohm
3) single coil=2 ohm
4) RDO (single coil)=2ohm

RDO is an IB thing...look at the adire audio tech docs if you really want to know.
