Projector Distance (1 Viewer)

This may seem like a dumb question, but when room is important it makes sense.

My question is this: on the projector caculators that are used on websites, is that usualy measured from screen to the front lense of the pj? Or is it measured the middle of the pj?

The Throw Distance is measured from the lens itself.
