This may seem like a dumb question, but when room is important it makes sense.

My question is this: on the projector caculators that are used on websites, is that usualy measured from screen to the front lense of the pj? Or is it measured to the middle of the pj?

I think you're talking about inches here. I mean from the middle of the pj as opposed to the front of the lens, but it is measured from the lens.
