    Will my analog 32 inch sony wega take advantage of the current low priced progressive scan dvd players ?

    You would not get any benifit of a progressive player with an NTSC analog set...

    There may be some benefit if the player does a better job with interlaced material, as has been reported of the Panny RP-91. Then you would still have progressive capabliities for later upgrades. Just a thought.
