Printer only prints pink! (1 Viewer)

I have a HP Deskjet 882C. For months now when it tries to print in color I only get pink. At first I assumed I just needed a new ink cartridge, but even that still just prints in pink. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Wow that's strange..

The only thing I can think to check would be the printer

connections to the machine and also pull the cartridges back

out and check where they make electrical contact to the

print cariage. Clean the contacts on the cariage with a

swab and Isopropyl Alcohol (gently) and give it another

shot.

You might want to check your color management settings too. My bosses printer was only printing pink, even for black, a while back. If I remember right, there was something wrong with the settings and he was also low on ink.

I had that problem recently on my HP 952C and I did replace the color cartridge and everything was fine. Anything that I was printing in greyscale was coming out pink. Don't know what else to suggest, perhaps cleaning the contacts like Brett suggests. Does it print pink even on the test page too?
