Well, on the image you can see a drawing of my room, it's almost the correct scale.

It's made in paint so it isn't so beautiful, but you can see what there is =)

The loudspeakers i have now is these:

And i am thinking of buying these:
http://www.fyndborsen.se/produkt.php...er!Prodnr=4917
(Price in USD: 164,01)
http://www.fyndborsen.se/produkt.php...er!Prodnr=4916
(Price in USD: 239,70)

And since i am kind of new to home entertainment systems i wonder if you have any advices how to set up the speakers...

i am thinking of just setting the surround speakers on the wall above the bed and computer table aimed down on the chair where i will sit :)

Or i am thinking changing the furnishing totally :

I need some tips, would be great if you could help me!
If you have time, feel free to edit the picture of my room and suggest a new way.

Hi Tommie,

The second two links don’t work. Are those the Yamaha speakers you posted before?

If the surround speakers are direct radiating, I wouldn’t aim them down at the seat. Since they are so close to you, they will be really easy to localize, which is really distracting. I’d aim them straight ahead at each other. If they’re still too easy to localize, try putting up a shelf and laying them on their backs. That way the sound will bounce off the ceiling, which should give a fairly ambient sound.

Regards,
Wayne

just remember, its a bed room, not a dedicated theater. do your best but dont expect perfection.

do u have a sub? if not i would not recomend going from a floorstanding to bookshelf. you will loose a lot of good bass response

nop, I do not have a sub, i will have a 5.0 system untill christmas, if i feel the need for a sub, i will ask Santa for one =)

I will do my best, but i would not recognize perfection if it knocked on my door :
