Pop goes the HT (1 Viewer)

I've connected my digital cable box to my new HT using the digital cable output.
I get a electronic popping or click sound everytime I change the channel on the t.v. Is there any solution to this problem other than not changing the channel?

Sounds like a defective cable box. I'd try getting a new up-to-date cable box if you have an older box. If it's a new box I'd have them replace it anyways.

I had this happen after an electrical storm knocked out my power. Everytime I changed channels or changed from one componant to another I got a loud pop. I ended up replacing the receiver as it was annoying.
