Hello Folks,

I am revising some of my home theater gear and need some advice. I have an ATI 1807 180x7 power amp. A definitive technology speaker sytem: 4xBP7001sc(mains and surrounds), 2xBPVX (back surrounds) and a CLR3000(Center). The subwoofer is the old discontinued SVSPB12Plus. I have been using a Denon 3803 as the processor but I sold it and need a processor. I can spend about $1300 before WAF kicks in. I figure my options are Onkyo 885/886, Integra 9.8/9.9 either used, or maybe the Emotiva UMC-1. I would also consider a newer Denon receiver. I use this for about 90% movies. What do you folks suggest? Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thank you for any advice you offer.

The UMC-1 sounds nice, but there have been problems with it, which will probably be fixed with firmware, but it is taking a long time. It's kind of a shame to buy a receiver when you won't use the amps. I am in the process of going back to separates. I have am Emotiva XPA-5 on the way which will make that possible, along with the Aragon 4004 I have now. I was going to wait and see what came of the upcoming Emotiva XMC-1, which should be in your price range. Maybe there is something you could use temporarily.

Or you could use THIS, then sell it or move it to a second system.
