pioneer dv-563as combined with older sony str-de835: what do you think? (1 Viewer)

Not ever having experienced dvd-audio or sacd, this player seems perfect to try them out, considering the price. Although I've read most of the posts on bass management, I don't fully understand it. My current speaker setup is a DefTech sub/sat system consisting of 4 pro-cinema 100's, pro-center c2, and the prosub 100tl.

Please let me know what you think.

I have a STR-DE845 reciever and just got the dv-563 last week. I have no subwoofer at the moment but everything sounds great on my Beck SACD. I'm not familiar with you speaker setup, but if sounds good for movies, it should sound good for DVD-A and SACD.
