Pioneer 710 or Yamaha 620? What's the best? (1 Viewer)

I live in Brazil and the receivers arrive here very expensive. What's the best one between these models? Why people don't like Pioneer's receivers?

Pioneer kind of dropped the ball on the 710 and 711 amp wise. The previous years 709 amp section is twice of that in the 710/711, plus they dropped the all channel preamp out puts. Just a warning you will need to keep the remote on top of the 710/711 or it might just float away! Pioneer has a history of doing this, once in awhile in their regular line they will put out one nice receiver then the next year they will radically change it but to the worse. I have not seen the weight of the 811 but I think its a nice receiver and will run rings around the 710/711 feature wise.
