Can an owner of either of these players confirm for me whether or not the player can pass DTS to a receiver? The Philips site mentions Dolby Digital but nothing about DTS...

For the 727, I'm not sure since I do not have a surround setup.

According to the manual regarding specs:

Digital Audio Out --- IEC1937 for MPEG2, Dolby Digital and DTS

Audio Format --- Digital: Mpeg/AC-3/DTS
