Parasound Halo A52 vs. A51 (1 Viewer)

Besides the obvious differences in price and wpc, what, if any, differences are there in sound?

The A52 is within my budget for a new system, and I might be able to stretch it to fit a used A51, but I'm wondering if it will be worth it, since it appears you're just paying twice the price for twice the power.

The "sound" is identical, with the A51 providing more headroom during louder playback. Probably not an issue unless you have a really big room or inefficient speakers.

John Curl stated on audioasylum that the xx1 Halo products are built a little better (ie, parts and design) than the xx2 ones (and so on, vs xx3). I would get a used Parasound 2205 220x5 for about 1300 used...the predecessor to the A51.
