Panasonic RP82 vs DMR-E30 (1 Viewer)

What I need to know is how the progressive scan of the E30 compares to the RP82 (which I know is good) do they use the same chip?

The E30 does not use the Sage/Faroudja chip as the RP-82. I haven't compared them side by side, but I would expect the RP-82 to have a better picture with regular DVDs.

I have heard about the RP-82 dvd player a million times..... How much does this player cost??

I have heard nothing but great things about it....

It runs about $200-$230 online. I just can't seem to find hte player locally anywhere. I know Crutchfield and Onecall sell them.
