It is 1538 Pizarro has conquered the Incas with guns, germs and steel but the Spanish have little gold to show for it. To appease the Spaniards the Incas tell them of vast amounts of gold, a city of gold (El Dorado), located deep in the Amazon jungle. They lie they are hoping the Spaniards will follow their greed and venture into the jungle where they will all die. The Incas are right the Spaniards take the bait and venture deep into the Amazon looking for the city of gold. Like Aguirre Wrath of God their fate is sealed.
