Which brand has great sound its hard to make up my mind. I have these receiver OnkyoTX-NR901Home theater receiver with THX Select, Dolby Digital EX, with SVS PB12+2 Subwoofer.

The Mirages that I have heard a few years ago, couldn't compete with the NHTs. Never heard Monitor Audio speakers, but many are praised in Stereophile. Although I am not using my NHTs anymore (sitting in the closet) I really like their sound. If you have the chance to hear them side by side, only you can make the decision as far as which is better.

MY pick is NHT.
