Well, I've taken the plunge and started my new HT project. I'm about six weeks into construction (stopped for a bit due to a nasty cold).
Most of the walls are up, along with the plumbing and about 50% electrical. Ceiling will be suspended acoustic tiles.
I'm planning on 5/8" drywall for the HT room. Lighting will be eight 6" cans and four 4" cans in the corners along with four wall sconces at 60" height (all on dimmers of course). Double padded carpet from Home Depot.
I'll post again when the drywall is up.
