Need short TV stand for 40" (1 Viewer)

I'm getting a 40" direct-view Wega and the related Sony stand is 18" high. Most others I've seen out there are 24" high or so.

This is a longshot, but have any of you seen a TV stand out there around 12-14" tall? Otherwise I'm thinking DIY.

I spent an enormous amount of time and never found a stand that was close to 18" tall, with the exception of the Qbit system with it's 14.5" cubes:

Well congrats, I wish I had one of these. I guess you shouldn't complain about finding a TV stand, the internet is an immense source of information and solutions. I found nice plasma tv stands in seconds.
