Any updates on this film with Bela Lugosi, as far as a complete UK version being located? I Would love to see it, someday, all the prints circulating now are all edited and under the title Ghost Ship.

The Phantom Ship is the actual US title. As released by Image decades ago.

Yup. I have that DVD, released in 2002. As far as I know, the original, longer British version is lost.

Locating this film in the longer version would be a great find.
It is not a bad movie.

One of only four films produced by the early Hammer Productions which was liquidated in bankruptcy in 1937, I'm not sure there's much hope for the missing material. We're probably lucky the film currently still exists in any form.
