My HDTV saga continues... I have OTA channels!!! :) (1 Viewer)

I bought a nice big yaga 80" antenna from RT. Installed in my attic... picked up very limited NYC channels and some PA channels (while pointing towards NYC) so I swung the antenna around and now I get the 4 main stations in PA, sweet!
Only problem is that I don't really get NBC (30 signal) and the other signals are between 60 and 75. Will an amplifier solve these problems? (i'm 55 miles from PA) Any suggestios of amps?

I ordered the Channel Master 7775 amp. I'm hoping this will help improve signals.. anyone have any experience?

my understanding is that an amplifier Hurts HDTV signal.

I added a preamp, (same model as you ordered) to my set up and all of my signals went up. I was at a 50 to 60 in signal strength and everything jumped to 60 to 70 or better. (Of course, ALL of the stations I am trying to get are 40 miles or more away. Any local stations are nothing but snow.)
