1976's The Adams Chronicles is one of the finest pieces of broadcast drama I've ever seen. With all the renewed interest in American history and the John Adams biography having been a best-seller, how about this fine mini-series on DVD.
It was originally produced by WNET; don't know who currently holds the rights.
Anyone else remember this?
Cheers

Mine would be The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett followed by All Creatures Great and Small, followed by Ken Burns The Civil War.

All Creatures Large and Small is my all-time favorite PBS Series. I will probably buy the DVD set. I could watch these episodes over and over again.
