I came across the following on audiogon.com's forum:

Get a used MSB Dac Link and Aiwa XC-37M cd player and have Stan Warren modify them. This combo sounds like a $10,000 player, believe me. I have one by the way.

I have an Aiwa-37M so it caught my interest like crazy. What do you guys think of this? Is this bull or is there some truth to it? I was shopping for a new CD player, but if I can just buy a Dac Link instead...

btw, the Aiwa cd player is cheap cheap cheap.

I have a MSB dac, and I like it. It is very good in the price range, but it will NOT turn your system night to day.

thanks for the info. So, I would assume that you would reccomend getting a new CD player over just buying the DAC link?
