I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. :)

( Haven't been spending much time on HTF lately, just happened to notice Rob's message, which I was certain would be forthcoming. ;) )

My Fair Lady: 8 Oscars and it's only mentioned here so that people can rip it apart. Shameful.

Far and Away. I still don't get why this is panned. Great score, cinematography, top drawer actors and an Oscar winning director.

Agreed. Family and friends like to razz me (in fun) when I tell them that there is a difference between an animated film and an animated cartoon. This normally takes place right after we have finished watching an animated film and they say, "good cartoon".

It's very rare that a day goes by where I don't read or hear someone bash at least one of these personal favorites:

Hook
The Hulk
The Lion King
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The Matrix Reloaded
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Titanic

Wow! Quite a few here that I agree get unfairly bashed.

Too many to list.

The hot film to gang up on this year seems to be Hulk. It's too bad many fail to grasp the complexities of this film. I like to think of it as the thinking persons Comic Book film. :D

I love Troma movies but a good amount of people can't stand Troma movies because movies from Troma are B-movies. Movies such as Toxic Avenger, Chopper Chicks In Zombietown, et al.

Another vote for

THE POSTMAN

One of my all time favorite movie. In fact, it was seeing the Postman on DVD that forced me to get a DVD player.

I rank it up there right behind Lord of the Rings :D
