I love this Anime and only own the old DVD. Looking it up for sale there are a few versions on Blu.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to which one is best? Thanks.

WHAT TO KNOW

Critics Consensus

A remarkable technical achievement, Metropolis' eye-popping visuals more than compensate for its relatively routine story. Read critic reviews

Roger Ebert’s 4 Star Review.

Now here is "Metropolis," one of the best animated films I have ever seen, and the city in this movie is not simply a backdrop or a location, but one of those movie places that colonize our memory.

I own the Eureka one, and I don't have any problems with it. It has a slightly better encoding I see at caps-a-holic than Mill Creek's version, and it has both 2.0 and 5.1 for the original Japanese language (as well as the English dub).

Thanks.

Is it this one?

No.
It's this one:
But I see it may be OOP.
By the way, I see amazon says it's Region B, but bluray.com says it's Region free.*
My back cover also says Region B.

*The review there states:
Eureka provided a check disc for purposes of this review, and so while I can't state whether the retail final is the same, this particular disc was region free and played fine on my Region A equipment.
