The Audio Authority Component Selector is probably what you need. It has coax/optical inputs/outputs as well as component in/out. Unfortunately it cost 7x the madcatz.

I have been looking at the Pelican System Selector Pro myself. Has 3 component in and 3 optical audio in.Here's link giving all the info. http://www.consoleaccessories.com/unv004.asp
Price isn't all that bad for what you are getting either.
