    Episode 1.2

This show is turning into one of my favorite new ones of the season. I can do without some of the melodrama and backbiting, but I like the setup with Big Time Lawfirm on one side and the public defenders lawfirm on the other side, I also like the upstairs/dowstsairs flavor of the paralegals in the basement. It has some real potential once they work out some of the kinks with the melodrama. A pretty good cast and Rob Lowe is solid.

i'm liking the intrigue surrounding the office and the senator father, but the first two episodes have been marred by some rather obvious and cliched secondary plots. the first week with the twin brother, and this week with the murder case. as soon as the sister stormed out of the courtroom i knew what was going to happen. a bit more creative writing and this series could be good.

Agreed, they have the tools in place for a good series but they have to move past the melodrama for sure and focus on a core of good characters and actors they have playing them.
