This was just released on R2 DVD and I wanted to know if it's worth picking up. What is the tranfer like (16:9)? Are the features worth spending time with? I love the movie and would be interested in picking up the disc depending on feedback.
    Thanks

I had a quick look at the disc.

It has a very nice 1.66:1 image.

Their discs of The Caretaker and A Taste of Honey were also outstanding. The prints weren't 100% pristine, but they were beautifully transferred nonetheless, and all had some excellent supplements.

The BFI are putting out some absolutely tremendous stuff - I'm getting eight of their releases over the next two months!
