In the IMDb quote section for Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Caine is quoted as quoting Frank Zappa. Never saw the show, but how in the world? Did they just ignore that Kung Fu was set in the 19th century? Or, was it a retelling set in modern times instead of a continuation?

Edit: the internet being my friend, I have now learned that the Caine in this show is the grandson of the original Caine. Why I didn't search earlier is a good question. :)

Mods, delete, close, or it'll die a natural death anyway.

Greg, I actually enjoyed the show and hope it comes out on dvd after the original series finishes out. Yes, we are told he is the grandson of the original Caine. But, it was sometimes hinted that he is the same guy and he has only aged slower. The show was much more mystical than the original...for good and bad.
