Mostly crap titles, in my opinion. Let's make a deal for the good stuff, Kino!
I'd have to agree that it's disappointing. Three of the titles I'd be most interested in are not on the list: Ruthless People, Outrageous Fortune, and Three Fugitives. And I know others are looking for Down and Out in Beverly Hills. I don't understand why Disney would be holding those back, as they seem to have no interest in releasing catalog titles any more.

But at least we may get It's Pat, The Movie or Mr. Wrong. <_<

Im in for The Puppet Masters, the others I will admit Ive either never saw, or just wasnt interested based on what I read about them..But also I might try a few on that list because sometimes there's a hidden gem within the cinematic rocks :D

Below is a post from Kino Lorber themselves as to what they have. This came from the Criterion forums which also came from 'the other forum'
This is all a quote from them

"Last week we announced the remaining ABC and Selznick titles - To put a stop to all these speculations, we're sharing the list of the remaining/unannounced Touchstone/Hollywood titles currently under license to KL - some will be released as special editions, others regular (with maybe one extra or none) and some we'll most likely not release, at least not for a while.

NIXON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (with the original poster art!!!!! I hated the 'election year' edition art.) Plenty of room to add extra features and even improve the transfer. It's the fourth best film ever made, in my opinion. And, "Jefferson in Paris" - I'd always like to see more Merchant/Ivory on blu-ray. What about "Mr. & Mrs. Bridge" ?

Like Peter, I made my sale purchase on Monday night:

Across 110th Street
Big House, U.S.A.
Chosen Survivors
Deadline U.S.A.
Disorganized Crime
Hickey and Boggs *
House of 1,000 Dolls
Love with the Proper Stranger
Pitfall
Revenge of the Ninja
Sugar Hill
Tough Guys
Twice Told Tales
War-Gods of the Deep
White Buffalo

Aside from Disorganized Crime, which Kino debuted this week, for me this big sale was a chance to try out a few titles that are new-to-me which I think I'd like (such as Pitfall), upgrade from DVDs (Twice Told and War-Gods), and get some titles I've been wanting which weren't necessarily priority purchases. (I've already bought my most wanted Kino BDs.)

I purchased a few more items than I'd intended, but better to just get them now than hold off on a few only to buy them in several months at regular price.

* Yeah, it's a Cosby film, but I'm an I Spy fan and wanted to finally see this Cosby/Culp reunion (albeit as different characters). So for only $8.99, I'm willing to try to focus on character and not the actor.

Thanks, Revgen. :)

I'm not familiar with most of those, but I'm happy to see Nothing Sacred, A Bill of Divorcement , and Ring of Bright Water on the way.
