JVC "D" series (1 Viewer)

I was at CC last night and saw the 36 "D" series and it looked pretty good. Im thinking about buying it...what others can i compare it too? any suggestions welcome. my budget is about $825. I watch a lot of DSS and DVDs.

The D series sets have been very good performers when it comes to calibration. The theater mode without calibration is typically around 7500K and the TV calibrates very well and fast too.

It typically has better geometry and less convergence issues compared to the flat tube design TV's.
